This is the continuation of a project by documentary maker Rene Gielen. Ms. Gielen takes trained dogs from the animal shelter to visit the elderly, children who themselves are sick or have sick parents and troubled youths. This is based on the view that contact with dogs can have a healing effect.

Op verzoek van het Prinses Wilhelmina Fonds Cura\u00e7ao maakt Annemieke de illustraties van een lesboek met interactieve lessen om kinderen liefde en respect voor honden bij te brengen. Dat is het vervolg van een project van documentairemaakster Renee Gielen. Gielen gaat met getrainde honden uit het asiel op bezoek bij bejaarden, kinderen die zelf ziek zijn of zieke ouders hebben en probleemjongeren.
